Smoky Mtn Exotics Rescue & Rehabilitation is a volunteer-driven network dedicated to giving exotic animals a second chance through rescue, rehabilitation, responsible rehoming, education, and lifelong support.
Our family of rescues includes Smoky Mtn Exotics Rescue & Rehabilitation, Smoky Mtn Parrot Rescue, Smoky Mtn Serpent Rescue, and Smoky Mtn Fish Rescue. Together, we care for a wide variety of animals including parrots, reptiles, snakes, small mammals, fish, axolotls, and other exotic species.
Every animal that comes into our care is treated as an individual. We focus on proper nutrition, safe housing, enrichment, medical needs, behavioral support, and finding homes that are prepared to meet each animal’s unique needs.
Our mission goes beyond adoption. We work to educate owners, help families facing difficult situations, provide resources whenever possible, and promote responsible exotic animal ownership throughout our community.

Our team is driven by a deep love and respect for these intelligent creatures, and our years of experience in rescue and rehabilitation have equipped us to provide the best care possible. We strive to educate the community about responsible parrot ownership while offering adoption services to find loving forever homes for our feathered friends.
